The show is from 10-3 and will feature the FFA serving up a Hot Dog BBQ. Everyone over the age of 18 will get a free ticket to win a complete race ready Northern Lights Race Car. There will be a bouncy house for the kids and of coarse you can meet the drivers and see their cars up close and personal. Racers remember this is worth 25 points and we would ask you to be there no later than 9:30 with your car. Tell all your friends while they are out at the City Wide Yard sale in Caribou to stop by and have lunch and support the Caribou FFA. We are happy to announce that following a great night of racing with the Wicked Good Vintage tour and all of our regular classes we will be having a rock concert featuring Unlucky Joe. This will give everyone a chance to hang around for a full nights entertainment. It will be a Race Rock Saturday night following the Loring Land Speed Races Late Model Challange Series Announcedlast updated on 4/29/20122012 Spud Speedway Late Model Challenge Series A total of 5 races throughout the season to challenge all Late Model Racers to see who can conquer Northern Maine’s Center of Speed Event #1 -Sunday, May 27th @ 1:00pm – 50 lap season opener Event #2 - Sunday, June 17th @ 1:00pm – 50 lap race Event #3 - Saturday, July 7th @ 6:00pm -75 lap race and fireworks show Event #4 - Sunday, August 5th @ 1:00pm – 50 lap race Event #5 - Sunday, September 9th @ 1:00pm 4th Annual Spud 150 season finale All racers get in free with their car to compete in these events. If a racer can win 3 of the 5 events he will receive an extra $1000.00 payout! Payout for the first 4 events will be 1st- $750.00, 2nd $500.00, 3rd $300.00 Spud 150 will have a separate larger purse to be announced soon. A minimum of $2500.00 to win that event! Tires will be available for purchase at the track a one purchase is necessary for each of the first 4 events and a 2 tire purchase is necessary for the Spud 150 We will also have one of the coolest trophies in racing to win at each event!
