Spud Speedway Banquet November 13th

The 2010 season has come to a close and it’s time to celebrate the accomplishments of many drivers, sponsors, and fans. Spud Speedway is proud of all of the champions and winners from this year who put on some great races for the fans to enjoy. Please join us at this year’s annual banquet Saturday, November 13th at the Caribou Inn & Convention Center. It will begin at 5:30 with a one hour happy hour, 6:30 dinner, 7:30 awards ceremony and at 9:00 we will open the dance floor with Aroostook Counties rock band, Turning Point for a three hour dance. Dinner will consist of Roast Turkey, Baked Ham, mashed potatoes, vegetable medley, stuffing, tossed salad, rolls, chocolate cake, and strawberry shortcake. There will be a cash bar open all night and we hope everyone will join us for a fun evening of reflecting on our 1st season of racing. Sponsors will be on hand to hand out trophies and checks for all of the top five drivers in their class. Drivers be ready to have your picture taken and be put on the website for all to see. Seating is limited and tickets must be purchased by November 5th in order to give the Caribou Inn a head count for the meal. Tickets will be $20.00 per person and you can purchase them online at www.spud-speedway.com or you can pick them up at Haney’s Building Specialties in Caribou. Driver’s must attend in order to receive their points fund check if a driver can not attend please contact Troy to make other arrangements to get your trophy. We would like to get all the drivers there for a group photo in each division so be sure to attend if at all possible. Remember November 5th is the deadline for tickets for one great night of food, fun and celebration.
