Atlantic Open Wheels this Weekend!

This weekend the Atlantic Open Wheel Tour makes a stop at Spud Speedway! We are expecting 10-12 of these racers to come race at one of their favorite stops. They are looking to gain points towards their championship and take home the bragging rights of winning at their only US track they race at. These guys are sure to put on a great show along with all of our weekly classes racing as well. All the action gets under way at 7pm so be sure to check us out for a great show!

Charity Bomber Race to be Redone

Due to the controversy surrounding last weeks Pink & Blue Bomber Race it has been decided by the track and sponsors of the race to not payout the 1st place prize money. Due to the actions of other racers affiliated with the winner the race finish has been deemed unfair, therefore it has been decided that the $1000.00 prize will be awarded to the winner of the August 9th bomber race. Being that this race is for local charities, racers will need to qualify to race for the $1000.00 prize by raising a minimum of $50.00 for the charities involved. Racers that were involved in the previous race and have already raised more than $50.00 are already eligible to win the prize. Racers that decide to race without raising the $50.00 donation will be qualified to win a $500.00 1st place prize and the remaining $500.00 will be donated to the charity should a non qualified racer wins the event. Spud Speedway always looks to ensure everyone has a fair shot at racing in a safe environment. This is a chance for racers to get involved in a great event that will help your local friends and family right here in the County!
